- Created a program that takes in a video of outdoor urban surveillance footage as input, detects people in each frame,
and indicates if any two people are standing less than six feet apart. - Worked alongside a team of engineers and environmental scientists as part of the SAGE project, a cyberinfrastructure
of weather and urban sensors utilizing “AI at the edge.” - Presented my project to colleagues and Argonne mentors and supervisors throughout 10-week program.
- Project will be integrated into SAGE sensors currently being deployed in the US, and will provide a means to answer
the question of how well people follow social distancing guidelines in outdoor urban environments.
